Training, qualifications & experience
My beliefs are rooted in the humanistic views. I am trained in various different types of therapy & support. I was originally trained in the person centred approach. I went on to train in TA (Transactional Analysis), Gestalt, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Clinical Hypnotherapy And IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). I use many of the skills I have learnt from these approaches and integrate them in a humanistic way to find the best possible way of working to suit a persons needs. I believe that people are individuals and I take an individual approach to therapy.

Face to face counselling - £40
I offer clinical supervision to both trainee and qualified counsellors. My supervision is informed by the Hawkins & Shohet Seven Eyed Model whilst having a firm base in the humanistic core values. Clinical supervision is fundamentally about supporting the client. In supervision we create a collaborative and supportive relationship together. A safe space for supervisees to explore the challenges and experiences of working with clients. I understand and respect supervisees need for autonomy in their own practice and am able to support this through effective review and reflection.
I aim to assist my supervisee's to provide good practice in an ethical and professional way by giving experienced and supportive ‘helicopter’ perspective.
