Jenny Dewane MBACP Senior Accredited
84 Falcon Road
I am an experienced therapist offering help with anxiety, anger, addiction, bereavement, relationship issues, depression and other illnesses. You can see me either at my practice in New Malden (near Kingston) or in Wimbledon, a short walk from Wimbledon station (Mainline, Underground and Tramlink) and from local bus stops.
We live in troubled times. Anxiety over money and relationships seem to be growing and everywhere we turn we encounter messages of doom from the media or find ourselves attacked by our environment. In this state of unease, it is not surprising that we might find ourselves feeling lonely, alienated and misunderstood. Our lives may seem meaningless and we look in vain for role models. Perhaps we have issues with food, drink or drugs. Sometimes loss in our lives brings about such huge changes in our perception that we feel lost ourselves. If any of this strikes a chord with you, I will endeavour to help you find your personal power to deal with such issues.
Training, qualifications & experience
My training was psychodynamic but I work in a more person-centred way, both face-to-face and telephone counselling; I also work with couples.
I am a Senior Accredited BACP Registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor, and also a Supervisor; and I have been working for over 20 years.
I work with both short-term and longer-term contracts. Any further information required will be made available on request.
