Hi, my name is Jenny. Let me start by saying that I understand coming for counselling can often feel like a big step so I aim to provide you with a comfortable, safe and confidential place to explore your thoughts and feelings.
I'm based in Benton, Newcastle. My practice is easily accessible by public transport (only a couple of minutes walk from Benton metro). I offer flexible appointment times including some evenings and weekends. Face-to-face or Skype sessions.

I am flexible in my approach, using a range of skills including person-centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) depending on your individual needs.

I have a specialist interest in working with people who have M.E/CFS and other long term health conditions. The experience of having a chronic and often fluctuating illness or disability can have a profound emotional impact on individuals and their families/carers. This combined with what can often feel like a lack of understanding from the people around them and the general public can lead to feelings of loss, anger, frustration and hopelessness.
For those with illnesses/disabilities that make it difficult to attend regular counselling sessions I offer flexible appointment times, shortened sessions or rest breaks and the option of counselling via Skype or telephone.
