I am an Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist which means I am trained and qualified to use a range of different therapeutic techniques; drawing from Transpersonal, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Person Centered and CBT. I also use mindfulness in my work. Through my understanding of these various approaches, I am able to identify the best ways of working together with you.
I also work with the underlying issues of addiction, such as depression, trauma and childhood abandonment and neglect. I also specialise in working with co-dependency and relationship issues, low self esteem, anxiety, bereavement and loss.
I offer a safe, confidential space, and through the establishment of a trustful therapeutic relationship we could together explore the issues that are causing you difficulty. I will support you In exploring your past formative experiences and future concerns which may be impacting on your present day choices and decisions, and in the way you form and maintain relationships with others. Times of struggle and crises can often, also present real opportunities for growth and with self awareness and deeper understanding of our motives change comes naturally and spontaneously. Therapy can be once a week or twice a week, depending on the complexity of the issues presented.
My approach is caring, non-judgemental, accepting and genuine, always holding the well being and safety of the indivudual to facilitate your autonomy.
I have broad experience working in many different therapeutic settings including:
