Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), I offer Couple Counselling / Psychosexual Therapy / Individual and Young Peoples Counselling. I am a fully qualified and experienced Counsellor, offering a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. My approach incorporates Psychodynamic, Systemic and CBT theories. My role is to work with you to help explore your concerns and find a way through them in a way that works for you.
As a General Member of COSRT I am bound by its Codes of Ethics and Principles of Good Practice for Members and subject to its Complaints Procedure
I work with couples, individuals and young people of any sexual orientation on a long or short term basis.

Appointments start at £30 per session
Further Information
Face to face appointments are held at my home in a lovely relaxing therapy room. However to be flexible, I also offer telephone appointments. Home visits may also be carried out with prior arrangement.
HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS AND HOW OFTEN?
Sessions are 50 minutes long. Many clients come weekly, however I appreciate this can be a financial strain and we can discuss the frequency of sessions. Fortnightly can also be a successful way forward.
WHAT WILL THE FIRST SESSION (INITIAL CONSULTATION) BE LIKE?
The first session is very much an information sharing time. I will talk to you about counselling and confidentiality. We can talk about your expectations of counselling/psychosexual therapy (PST) and I can answer any questions you may have.
We will talk about why you have chosen this time to seek help and what the issues for you are.
Together we can talk about what your hopes for the future are, and if counselling/PST are what you would like to proceed with. At the end of the first session you will have a clearer idea of what you would like to do.
WILL I HAVE TO BOOK FOR MORE SESSIONS AFTER THE FIRST?
Many clients will book again for the following week/available session. Some will take time to think abut it. It is important that you take time to consider such a decision and find a counsellor that you believe is right for you.
CAN I PARK?
I have an allocated parking space for clients on the drive.
HOW DO I PAY?
You can pay by cash, cheque or bank transfer. I operate a pay in advance policy. Any cancellations/reschedules where possible must be made in advance of 48 hours as charges may occur otherwise.
HAVE YOU HAD A CRB CHECK?
I do hold an Enanced CRB certificate. This is usually required when professionals are going to be working solely with young people.
