Hi, I'm Jen and I am an integrative counsellor working out of Macclesfield, Cheshire. I offer face to face counselling, telephone counselling and online counselling by video call, email or instant message. I also offer couples counselling.
Do you suffer from depression or anxiety? Have you been bereaved or suffered a loss? Perhaps you have relationship difficulties or would like to work on building your self-esteem. I offer face to face or online counselling (individual clients only) by email, instant messenger or video call and together we can work on helping you to find your strength and the tools needed to help you through these challenging times.
I was trained in the Humanistic approach as an integrative counsellor and I have a strong grounding in the person-centred approach. This means I will work with you in a non-directive manner to help you find the right solution to your issues. The integrative aspect of my counselling means that sometimes I may draw on methods from other approaches if I feel this would benefit you.
I truly believe that everyone has it within themselves to grow and change, no matter their life circumstances. Together we will create a confidential, warm, empathic and non-judgemental space in which you can work towards achieving your aims and becoming the person you want to be.
On your contact we will have a brief discussion around your reasons for seeking counselling at this time and your aims for counselling, this will help us both to establish if we both feel we can work together. We will then agree a time and date to meet, where possible we will continue to meet weekly at this time. I offer both short or long term counselling to suit your needs but do look to review your ongoing needs on a regular basis.
I look forward to hearing from you.
