It can seem daunting making a commitment to counselling, but by reading my profile you have taken the first steps towards acknowledging your wish to explore your feelings, thoughts and emotions.
These could be feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, anger, grief, loss and bereavement, addictions and family and relationship issues.
I have a specialist interest In loss, grief and bereavement.
Loss I have found through working with my clients can come in many different forms. These could be loss of a relationship, a parent, of childhood and of self worth and esteem to name but a few. I have found there are many emotions relating to loss, grief and bereavement. If you are experiencing these emotions together we can explore them and work through these so you can have a better understanding of these emotions and ultimately try to aim to towards acceptance of your losses.
I am an experienced counsellor and able to offer to you weekly sessions in a confidential, safe and calm environment that is without judgement.
I have qualified as an integrative counsellor, which means I have trained in many theoretical approaches. I am therefore able to tailor your therapy for your own specific needs.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
