Working with couples, individuals and families I am a qualified psychotherapist, executive coach and leadership mentor. I am also a supervisor who works to support the work of other counsellors. I combine theory with practice enabling my clients to both understand the “why” as well as the “how”. Working with clients on their journey, sometimes of self-discovery and growth enabling them to take “their life in their hands". I help my clients to find a way through their issues and provide a safe and confidential space to do so.
I am able to offer home visits to disabled clients, with a small extra charge for travelling expenses.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained in the humanistic approach and integrate theory from the psychodynamic school where my core base comes from and this guides me when working with clients and helps them to manage and make sense of the issues they are facing.
I am a qualified NLP practitioner and life coach. Using the skills and training I have gained over many years I feel I am able to offer a variety of approaches to support individuals. I also hold an enhanced CRB certificate. I work with couples in either a counselling relationship or as offering couples coaching where I act as an objective support during difficult times in the relationship. In all cases I am able to work with talking and creative therapies.
As well as offering counseling I am fortunate enough to be able to offer coaching and mentoring. In addition to this I am qualified and very experienced in working with the personality and use a range of tools including preference, Inclusion and exclusion and other assessment models to help my clients understand why and how. With this information I find this enables clients to really make changes in their life. I work with couples both as a relationship coach and also practice as a couples counsellor.

Other areas of counselling I deal with
I have a particular focus and interest in working with men who are experiencing a challenge in their life about their identity. If you are having problems with your self esteem, relationship issues or generally feel you are at a crisis point in your life I can support you though this.
I have extensive experience in discovery of the self and have worked with a number of men to help them find where they feel most at ease.
I also run the local men's group based in Grantham Lincolnshire
This is a supportive way to explore issues with other men; discover what masculinity means to you; make new friends and connections and benefit from the unique experience of being part of a men’s group.
Men are welcome to join the group for one 12 week term only, or to remain in the group as a long-term member.
Who Can Join
The group is open to men from any faith or culture. Straight, gay, single, married, divorced. Whatever your status, you will benefit from the group if you have the courage and curiosity to discover more about yourself; a willingness to listen to others; can give and receive feedback with the aim of obtaining greater self-awareness and insights into the habitual roles, patterns and beliefs which may be preventing you from leading a rewarding life.
The group can support you with issues with anger/rage, addiction, depression, loneliness, relationship problems or simply if you want to discover and learn more about your journey through life as a man.
- The group will run with 6-10 men for 3 ‘terms’ a year, each lasting 12 weeks.
