About me

  • My name is Janis Sinclair; I am 64 years old, married with two grown-up children. I am a fully trained, qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist, completing my Postgraduate Diploma through Stirling University In 2011, Qualifying as a Counselling Supervisor with COSCA in 2013.

Since then, I have gained extensive experience working with adults, children, couples and families. My personal counselling experience over two years brought about a considerable self-awareness and understanding, leading me on the journey I now travel as a Psychotherapist/Counsellor.

I firmly believe that counselling should offer a confidential and non-judgemental environment in which you can discuss various issues such as:

Suicidal thoughts
bipolar
family problems
Marital issues
career
childhood sexual abuse
children
depression
low self-esteem
Panic attacks
Stress
anxiety
self-esteem
physical abuse
sexual abuse
verbal abuse
trauma
relationship problems
personal development
bereavement
depression
mental abuse
loss
anger
eating disorders and many more.

Furthermore, I believe that the key to successful counselling is choosing the right counsellor for YOU.
