It can be daunting choosing a therapist and you may need to meet more than one to see who you feel comfortable with. I would recommend reading a short book called 'How to Choose a Psychotherapist' by Neville Symington
I would describe myself as friendly and down to earth; I'm from a working class background. I specialise in bereavement counselling, having had both personal and professional experience of bereavement. I have over 40 years experience in the helping professions. I was formerly a nurse SRN/RMN and ran a psychiatric day hospital in London. I am now registered with The British Psychoanalytic Council.
