Janine Hurley - The Macclesfield Human Givens Centre
I am dual qualified as a Human Givens Therapist and nurse - specialising in health visiting. I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from both roles to my work. My clients' feel a significant improvement after 3 to 4 sessions of therapy.
I chose to study the Human Givens Approach to psychotherapy as it a safe, non-intrusive therapy, tailored to individual needs. It is a practical, solution focused therapy which appealed to my style of working developed in my long nursing career.
The approachable therapy combines proven scientific knowledge and psychological techniques to bring effective relief from emotional distress. I use reliable outcome measures in all my work, and will ensure I provide the minimum number of sessions required to bring about effective and lasting relief from emotional suffering.
Guided Imagery is an integral aspect of all my therapeutic work.
I provide clinical supervision to counselling and medical professionals.
