Hello, do you feel stuck or unable to move forward in life? I am a BACP accredited Counsellor with over 9 years’ experience, based in the Stockport area. I can offer you a safe, supportive space to express your feelings and help make sense of your life. I work towards helping you gain more self-awareness, greater self-acceptance and more rounded view of life. I encourage people to find their own answers and build on the strengths and resources they already have.
Issues I work with include: depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, abuse, anger, relationships issues and work related issues. I have particular experience in issues relating to life's transitions such as bereavement and loss, changes in relationships, ageing, ill-health, retirement and lack of purpose or direction in life.
I use an integrative approach which means I utilise strategies from different counselling models and ongoing professional development. This enables me to offer a sensitive and professional service that is personal to each individual. At the heart of my approach is building a safe, trusting relationship with my clients helping them feel valued and understood. I am genuinely interested in people and value working with people from all walks of life.
Please get in touch for an initial meeting if you feel I can help.
