am a fully qualified, highly skilled and experienced accredited senior counsellor and counselling supervisor with over 12-years experience of working with clients from across a broad spectrum covering a wide range of issues.
  I have worked within third sector, the Primary Care Trust (NHS) Connexions, schools, GP's surgeries and in private practice.
The training and experience I have gained over the years has given me knowledge and understanding of an integrated range of theories, techniques and applications such as C.B.T. and Gestalt with the Person Centred model underpinning my work. My role is to offer you a confidential, warm and safe environment where you are able to talk openly and freely.
  Every individual knows what best or good for them, it is inherent in all of us. Sometimes, we lose sight of this and begin to think and feel in a negative or irrational way.
We lose our ability to resolve our own, personal issues and cease to live in a positive and productive way. We begin to make poor choices and decisions. We can feel depressed, anxious, trapped, confused, isolated, empty and lost.
  My aim is to provide a non-judgemental, pressure free space where you can explore your  thoughts and feelings and begin to make sense of your world. You can develop a clearer understanding of who you are and find a resolve to your internal conflict and live a more productive life once again.
  I provide professional and confidential support and I am caring and conscientious and I have conviction in what I do.
I work from home so that my clients have the comfort of a confidential, pressure free space to explore their personal issues.
  My aim is to provide you with a service that fits your needs that enables you to be able to talk openly without feeling under pressure. I know how difficult it can be to talk sometimes, you may be surprised at how relaxed you feel when you begin to ell your story. I'm here to help you talk through your difficulties so that you can, once again, begin to live a more productive life.

Further Information

I am also a Counselling Supervisor. This means that, I work with other counsellors providing, education, management and support for them. This work is there to enhance the practitioner's skills and development. I have regular supervision myself, at least once a month. Supervision is a requirement of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. BACP. All counsellors are required to have at least 90 minutes supervision every month in order to practise ethically and maintain a good and effective working ethos.
