I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist professionally accredited by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I offer face-to-face, one-to-one counselling for adults on a short or long term basis.
I offer counselling for general life issues: Relationships; Depression; Anxiety; Esteem; Workplace Issues; Trauma; Bereavement; Abuse and many more. I also have much experience working with substance misuse and addiction.
Humanistic values underpin my counselling and I work as an integrative counsellor using the most appropriate interventions to meet my clients’ needs.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to make life-enhancing changes when provided with the appropriate environment of understanding, trust, respect, challenge and confidentiality.
Counselling supports clients to make sense of thoughts, feelings and behaviours gaining self-awareness, understanding and personal insight into issues and problems. Counselling will develop the client's own potential and resources to establish a fresh approach to difficult aspects of life.

A counselling agreement will outline how we can work together to maintain safety and confidentiality.
