Taking the first step into counselling takes courage. However engaging in counselling can lead to personal growth and positive life changes. Sometimes you may struggle to cope alone with difficult issues which you find difficult to share with family and friends. Counselling can provide a safe space where you can talk about yourself and your life in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
I am an integrative counsellor and also trained in working with trauma. This means I adjust the way I work so that I can better meet the needs of each individual client, whether in short-term work looking at specific issues or longer term work looking at how the past may be impacting on your life in the present. I am experienced in working with domestic violence, sexual abuse, self-esteem, anxiety, stress, panic attacks and relationship and family issues as well as anger management and depression.
My practice is based in the scenic village of Rostrevor in a secluded private setting.
