Although I work with any individual, I am particularly interested and experienced in working with children and young people.
I use a number of counselling styles which work well for the diversity of my clients and their issues. From play therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, to more in depth change work. Having a Nursing background, I have enjoyed caring for many people and pride myself on working non judgementally with kindness and compassion.
I believe the most important element of counselling is the relationship of trust between client and therapist as this enables the client to feel free to explore their issues and move forward positively.
