About me

Many people think going to therapy is about focusing on what is making them unhappy but it is also an opportunity to take time out to discover what really inspires you and brings you joy. As a fully qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist I am here to offer a sanctuary - some time for yourself in which to explore in depth what it is really like to be you.

I believe taking time out of our lives to step back and take stock is really important. I have been trained to help you explore your experience and will support and guide you to find a new perspective and direction.

I am a Psychosynthesis Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Psychosynthesis has been described as 'a psychology with a soul'. It recognises that each of us is on a journey through life that is both purposeful and meaningful, even though at times it can be difficult and painful.

I have practice rooms in St Albans, and also see clients on zoom - if you feel I can be of assistance to you please do not hesitate to call or email for a relaxed discussion about what you are seeking.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I have an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy from the London Institute of Psychosynthesis. I am regularly supervised and undertake continued professional development to ensure best practice and high standards.

I have eight years experience working with postnatal depression and the challenges of parenthood. I have counselled in a mental health setting for Spiritual Care in the NHS and I have worked with addictions as a counsellor for Hertfordshire Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service and at Carer Support in Barnet.

I am an accredited member of the the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and abide by their code of ethics and standards.
