Jane Clemens Bsc. Adv Dip Couns.
I offer counselling in a safe space, which is confidential and personal, where you can talk about yourself and your life which may be painful or confusing for you and may make you feel uncomfortable, angry or unhappy, however you will be supported and listened to without judgement, and accepted with unconditional personal regard.
I work as an integrative counsellor which means I draw from a range of counselling approaches, eg: CBT, Gestalt, Creative Therapies, Existentialism.
To make an appointment to speak to me, you can email or telehone me between the hours of 8am to 7pm. You can call, text or email me directly or I accept referrals from General Practitioners and other Healthcare Professionals.
The first appointment is a 30 minute session offered free of charge. This is a support session to enable me to listen to your thoughts and feelings about what brought you to counselling. I will introduce myself and we will discuss and agree the best way forward for you.
The first 30 minute session can be arranged at short notice and can be completed by telephone or face to face. Please feel free to phone me, pass on my contact details or advise patients to ‘drop in’ to my practice on a Tuesday or a Wednesday at the Beacon Medical Centre in Sidmouth, Devon. If I am available I will see you, if I am busy please leave a message on my telephone number or at the reception desk.
I offer face to face counselling between the hours of 8am to 3:30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
I offer telephone counselling and Skype counselling between the hours of 8am to 9pm Weekdays.
I also have a few online Skype counselling sessions at the weekends – Saturday/Sunday 8am to 12noon.
