Profile

I am a Person Centred Counsellor and Supervisor working and living in the Elgin area in Moray. I believe that we all have it within us to be the best we can be but sometimes we need a little help to do this. I aim to be genuine and accepting in order to nurture an environment in which growth can happen. I believe passionately in what I do.

I work with individuals aged 16+ years using a non-directive approach and EFT. I believe in offering my clients their own space in which to explore issues in order to find resolution by looking at choices and changes.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental environment and follow strict ethical codes for good practice.

My approach is effective with most issues and difficulties and I welcome enquiries for advice about the way forward if you are unsure or have questions. 

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and have been in practice since 2005. I am an accredited counsellor  with BACP and COSCA and I am an accredited Trainer with COSCA.

I have worked generically with many issues and worked with groups bereaved by suicide.

I am a qualified Supervisor and have four years experience working with Counsellors in a variety of work settings, including Couples Counsellors and I am currently working towards Supervisor accreditation.

I have a great deal of experience counselling those bereaved by suicide both in groups and individually and feel this has given me insight into what is most useful and effective.

Fees

My fees are £25-£40 per session.

I offer a limited number of concessionary rates to those with financial hardship and also to serving members of HM Forces and dependents.
