About me

I'm a chartered psychologist based in central Bath, offering a range of psychological therapies (including cognitive behavioural therapy, EMDR, compassion focused therapy, cognitive analytic therapy and relational psychodynamic psychotherapy) for individuals aged 18+.

As a psychologist, I work with a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties.  I have particular interests in working with the following:

  • post traumatic stress responses (PTSD and complex trauma) - I offer EMDR and trauma focused CBT;
  • eating disorders - depending on your needs, I offer CBT-E, CBT-ED, MANTRA or CBT-T;
  • body-related distress/body dysmorphia;
  • anxiety-related difficulties (including generalised anxiety, chronic worry, health anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks and phobias);
  • low self-esteem and self-criticism;
  • perfectionism and associated difficulties;
  • relationship problems;
  • the experiences and challenges of being neurodivergent (in particular autism spectrum and ADHD) in social and work environments  ‘designed’ by  and for the neurotypical majority; and
  • intrusive or obsessive thoughts, and compulsive behaviours.

You may find that the difficulties you experience don't fall 'neatly' within any of these terms or descriptions - rather that old patterns of thinking, feeling or relating to yourself or others are somehow getting in the way of you living a fulfilling and meaningful life.  I provide a warm and supportive environment in which we can explore whatever is concerning you.
