As I write this the sun is shining and the birds are singing. Spring is very definitely here! Time to get out and walk the dog, plant flowers and soak up some sunlight.
Spring brings a collective sigh of relief that the long, dark nights and short, mostly grey days are coming to an end. It’s a time of hope and brings expectations of change. It’s a time of ‘spring cleaning’ and ‘sorting out’. Not just our homes but also our lives. We may feel emboldened to search for new ways of being. We may feel we cannot carry on doing things the ‘old’ way. We may think that ‘spring’ is far from our inner world and that ‘grey’ continues to describe how we feel. Whatever the reason you are looking for a counsellor I’m here to help. Check out my website at www.jacquianslowcounselling.co.uk or email me via the link on this site.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors). I have a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling following on from a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and a Diploma in Sociology (OU). I have over 800 hours of recent experience with further experience from 18 years ago when I did my initial counselling training. During the intervening years I worked for a large charity working with the public and as part of a management team. My work has always revolved around people giving me a wealth of experience of not only my own life but also of others.
