About me

Hello! If you are reading this you are probably looking for some help with difficult emotions, thoughts and/or relationship(s). I would like to offer you my particular skills and experience to help. I work with individuals and couples providing a safe space for you to explore what's going on in your life. This usually requires gaining some understanding of your past, looking at how it affects your present and finding a way forward. I trained in Integrative Counselling which meant looking at a wide range of theories and learning how to blend this knowledge into an approach that fits individuals and their circumstances.

Alongside my private practice I work with a women's aid agency and another charitable counselling agency.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors). I have a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling following on from a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and a Diploma in Sociology (OU). I have over 600 hours of recent experience with further experience from 18 years ago when I did my initial counselling training. During the intervening years I worked for a large charity working with the public and as part of a management team. My work has always revolved around people giving me a wealth of experience of not only my own life but also of others.
