About me

I am a qualified person centred Counsellor.
I counsel both adults and children from the ages of 6 years upwards.

Children counselling is usually done through play therapy as well has talking therapy, depending on ages.

I am here to listen to you and be none judgemental, I am not here to tell you what to do but can help you find your way through your worries and problems.

If you feel lost or confused, anxious, afraid or overwhelmed, I can support you through this difficult time, help you to feel better and work with you to identify the best way forward for you.

Together, we can think through any changes you wish to make to yourself, your life or your relationships. I will give you the time and space you need to gain insight into your problems and begin to move forward with your life.

Being person centred, means that the way I work involves putting you at the very centre of the counselling process, so we will focus on what is important to you and what you want to achieve through counselling.

We will work at a pace, which is right for you. I provide a safe, confidential and welcoming space for you to explore your issues, with out fear of being judged.

Some of my previous background and experiences may be useful such has mindfulness and self calming techniques, which can help you to feel more in control and to over come feelings of anxiety and stress. we can integrate these techniques into our work- but only if you feel it would be useful to you.

I am happy to work on both short term (4-6 sessions) or a longer term basis.
