About me
I am a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist and an experienced qualified Coach in private practice in Ealing (W5).

My approach to counseling and therapy is first to create a place of safety. Safety is the condition that enables us to explore conscious and unconscious issues together. I support personal enquiries at ever increasing depth to accomplish healing and continuous growth through the therapeutic relationship. Healing leads to a space of self discovery and new possibilities in life.
My practice is easy to find. It is in Ealing. Ealing Broadway underground station is in walking distance. I have a waiting area and when it is sunny, you can sit outside on a terrace, overlooking the garden of ealing Abbey. There is a safe parking in front of the building.
Training, qualifications & experience
Training: I received my main training from Thale Bout, one of the first successful personal development trainers in the Netherlands. In the 1990's I studied Buddhism for three years. I followed trainings in different forms of therapy: Psychosexual, Relationships, Gestalt, Arts, Transpersonal and Relational CBT. My approach is Integrative. My style is interrelational, intersubjective and embodied.
Qualifications: I have a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and in Religious Studies. I am an accredited Interfaith Minister. Next to this I am an experienced Coach, COSRT senior Accredited. COSRT registered Supervisor, NCPS Accr, NCIP senior Accredited. Registered MBACP. AHPP member.
Experience: I have 17 years experience as a coach and therapist.

My name might already have told you that I grew up in the Netherlands where I spent my childhood and went to University. I lived for 5 years in the USA between 1995 and 2000. I work and study in London since 2007.
My personal journey has been an ongoing exploration of the human condition and the search to make meaning out of life, no matter how difficulty and challenging this can be. At the core of my search is the unique mystery of each individual.
I see clients in private practice as well as with a voluntary counselling service. I work in English and Dutch.
My professional experience includes working in private practice and both statutory and voluntary organisations. I am also an experienced organisation consultant.
I am co-founder of NAOS, a training institute, which trains group facilitators, executive coaches, therapists and supervisors.
I am author of two books: The Tao of Mashed Potatoes and World Wide We.
