Jackie Bould BSc MBACP, CS (Accred)
As a Registered Nurse for nearly 40 years, I decided to re train as a counsellor. Having never had the time to sit and talk with my patients due to a heavy workload, counselling seemed to be the right progression in my life. I started counselling training in 2001 and have never looked back.
I have trained as a clinical supervisor so also support trainee counsellors as well as qualified ones.
I run a charity that offers counselling and therapeutic play to children and young people in West Yorkshire between the ages of 3-21.
I think it is very important to make sure that you feel ok with your new counsellor as we can't expect to like everybody in our lives so I offer a free 15 minute meet up.
I offer counselling from my home address in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, in a safe & confidential setting. This is easily accessible from the M62 junction 25.
There are two steps to access the premises.
I work with most issues which include sexual/physical abuse, bereavement, domestic violence, Health Issues, low self esteem & confidence.
I offer counselling or therapeutic play with Children & Young people aged 10+
