Yvonne and Diane extend a warm welcome to Ivy Counselling.
We all, at some point in our lives, come to a crossroads where our thoughts or issues can feel overwhelming. Talking to trained professionals can help you begin the process of untangling your thoughts, unburdening your feelings and for you to begin the journey of regaining a more positive outlook. You will feel the cloud lifting enabling you to see a clearer path, feel more confident and able to make choices and decisions.
A little time taken for yourself can bring many rewards, not only for you but for those close. Many of our clients feel the positive benefits of counselling after a short period of time and see it rippling through their relationships and daily lives.
By entering into counselling, you are inviting us to walk alongside you and experience your world as you see it, thereby enabling us to have an empathic understanding. We at Ivy Counselling are committed in helping you to help yourself.
Yvonne and Diane are becoming well known for saying to their clients "Walking into Counselling just maybe the best thing you will ever do"
We are fully qualified Counsellors providing affordable counselling, who put their clients at the centre of the relationship and we never forget you have choices.
Please do take some time to view our web site, www.ivycounselling.co.uk this will give you an opportunity of getting a real feel for us at Ivy Counselling, what we do and what we have to offer you.

It is important for us to reach as many people as possible, therefore our Motto is 'affordable and accessible'.
A session will cost £25 if your household income is less than £20,000 and £40 if more for individual one to one counselling which lasts for an hour.
For couples counselling a session will cost £60 for an hour with the option of 90 minute sessions at £75.
We offer a FREE 30 minute initial consultation which allows us both the opportunity to meet and for you to find out a little more about what we can offer you; it enables us to ensure your understanding of what counselling is, how it works, what your expectations are and whether this is the right therapy for you.
We appreciate the consultation can be an anxious time for many which is why we believe it important to make you feel welcome and put you at ease as quickly as possible
Clients often share with us when they return for their first counselling session "I felt great when I left here but I couldn't remember everything you said to me, my mind went blank".
This is both natural and understandable which is why we give all our clients a specially prepared information pack to take away and to read at their leisure. At the beginning of the session there is an opportunity to ask any questions to allay any fears or concerns before together we commence the counselling journey.
We are DBS Enhanced checked, we hold both Professional and Public Indemnity Insurance and are registered with the Data Protection Office.
