I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist specialising in assessment and therapy for psychological problems. I specialise in helping with a number of difficulties including anxiety, depression, phobias, panic, relationship difficulties and obsessive compulsive disorder. I can assist with low self-esteem, work related stress and family difficulties.
My in depth training and experience allows me to provide therapy that is tailored to your specific needs, using 'evidence based' psychological approaches.
I use a range of psychological models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Mindfulness Approaches. Working in a compassionate, collaborative and problem solving way with the client, I help people to overcome a range of difficulties that have been impacting on their quality of life and psychological wellbeing, assisting them to fulfil their potential.
I offer supervision to clinicians and trainees. I am a registered Expert Witness.
I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (www.bps.org.uk) and an accredited member of the Health Professions Council (www.hpc-uk.org).
