Art Therapy offers the potential to work creatively through life experiences, which may be painful or difficult to talk about. Art therapy is a method that employs the use of art materials such as paints, crayons, collage, clay etc. It is not necessary to have any previous experience or formal skills in working with art materials. The creative process can offer inspiration in dealing with complex personal and emotional issues. Art Psychotherapy can also provide a valuable mode of communication for young and old alike. Creativity in itself can be a therapeutic experience.
Your first session would be an assessment session which would last approximately one hour fifteen minutes. Should you wish to continue, then sessions would be 50 minutes. Fees include the use of art materials.
