Ingrid Bresnahan Dip Couns. MBACP (Registered)
The Danson Centre
Depression, anxiety, family & relationship difficulties, addictions, work problems are some of the many areas that can leave you feeling challenged, exhausted and searching for support. These may then impact on your enjoyment of social activities and reaching out for help can be daunting. I hope that by reading the service I can offer you will feel able to call and see if counselling is right for you.
I am a registered BACP integrative counsellor working and systemic practitioner. I work within the BACP Ethical Framework and am a member of the Association of Family Therapists. My experience is through voluntary and paid employment where I have encountered many of life's problems which can influence day to day lives. This has included individual, family and couple work where I provide a confidential, non-judgemental space where we can work together to explore the most suitable therapeutic support to meet your individual needs.
Counselling can help by giving you time to talk through your worries, understand your feelings, process your thoughts and start the journey to change and self awareness.
Our first session will be to introduce myself and explore what you want from counselling, building on our therapeutic relationship, making sure we are both happy to work together. I understand that making the decision to seek help may be difficult which is why this session together is important to help you feel safe, reassured and enable you to ask any questions you may have.
Please call me for further information.
