About me

I have a wide experience of over 20 years working with a diverse range of issues and people from different cultures, ethnicities, faiths, sexual orientation and from different professional and educational backgrounds.

These years of practice working with private clients, in the voluntary sector and as a therapist in different organisations in the UK and abroad, allowed me to acquaint myself with people who had made transitions in their lives, moved countries and struggled with integration, adaptation and relationships.

I specialise and have vast experience in working with people who experienced depression, anxiety, separation, bereavement, loss or trauma – in particular post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

I offer both short-term therapy (up to 12 sessions) to deal with a specific issue that you would like to explore and try to understand and resolve, or open-ended long-term therapy.

During the initial session we discuss your needs and the issues you would like to explore and get help with. We then decide how to progress.

My commitment as an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist is to support you in the process of exploring your feelings and working through difficulties in a respectful, compassionate and thoughtful way, at your pace.

I practice from a warm and welcoming consulting room, conveniently located seconds from Chancery Lane tube station in High Holborn.

Confidentiality

I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. The same level of confidentiality governs all of our communication, including phone and e-mail.
