About me
I work from my consulting room by Peckham Rye Common and I also work over the phone and internet including online video. I work during the day and in the evenings.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained as an attachment based psychoanalytic psychotherapist. I completetd this training in 2011 and registered with the UKCP in 2015. Before this I trained and worked as a mental health nurse and cognitive behavioural therapist. I also worked at the Institute of Psychiatry , King's College London as a lecturer practitioner in mental health. I have 25 years experience as a mental health worker. I have worked in many different areas of mental health including drug and alcohol use, serious mental illness and assessment, depression and anxiety difficulties.
I am also a musician and some of my work as a psychotherapist is with people with performing and creative backgrounds.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

My fees are from £75 - £95 a session of 50 minutes depending on your circumstances and time of day. I also see some people for a concessionary rate of £45- £65.
