Most of us find it helpful to talk to someone who listens and accepts us, especially when dealing with difficult or traumatic experiences, either in the past or present. This is where counselling can help.
I am qualified as an Integrative Person Centred Counsellor and would be happy to discuss any area of support you may feel you need. I use mindfulness practices to bring clients to pay attention to things we normally would not even notice, and becoming aware of our present moment and experience as it arises, non judgementally, with kindness and compassion.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and on their register.
I work from The Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre (TCPC) in Old Town, Swindon. This Centre has been created for the purpose of Counselling & Psychotherapy.
I have extensive experience working in a number of public sector organisations. I am familiar with handling both workplace stress and personal challenge.
For three years I worked at the Swindon and Wiltshire Alcohol and Drugs Service (SWADS) and Swindon Options for Life and Recovery (SOLAR) where I gained experience of one to one counselling.
I have experience of running a workplace mentoring programme and work with clients who think they will benefit from mentoring. I have experience of working with people who want to manage and cope better with workplace issues.
