Background & Experience:
Hilarie joined the Maidenhead PCT/NHS team in 2006 working part time in six GP Surgeries ranging from Langley & Slough, to Maidenhead, Ascot & Sandhurst. She also runs a busy Private Practice. She is now semi retired and thus free to be flexible on dates and appointment times.
Her career background enables the effortless transition from Clinical Counselling/Psychotherapy, to Leadership Mentoring and Interpersonal Skills Training/Coaching. Likewise her experience in the workplace makes it easy to work with corporate clients - Hilarie spent some 15 years working within the Fashion/Retail Sectors in Technical Sales and Consultancy, and ran her own Training Consultancy from 1992 - 2006 when she joined the Maidenhead PCT.
Besides her Counselling Practice Hilarie also offers Leadership Mentoring to Senior Managers and Executives. Her diverse skills being the perfect compliment to this work.
With nearly 10,000 hours of one to one counselling/psychotherapy experience, and at least 7,000 hours as a Trainer/Coach, Hilarie has gained a reputation amongst her peers of being undaunted by even the most severe and challenging of conditions thanks largely to her background, and the wide diversity of experience gained working within the NHS.
She has been a practising Human Givens Psychotherapist since qualifying in 2001.

How much will it cost?
Human Givens is a Brief Therapy, this means that you will normally need no more than SIX sessions. You are not investing in long term therapy, but very specific and focussed help for your individual needs that will enable you to take control of your own longterm happiness and wellbeing.
There is also a sliding scale of charges depending upon where you will be seen, and your current financial situation, so please call or email me for more specific details of my fees and charges.
If there are financial difficulties I will always take this into consideration.
