Talking to another person helps us not just express what's going on for us but also gives us space to think about why we feel the way we do. Being heard not only helps us to feel understood which can be healing in itself, but knowing what makes us tick can open up room for change.
I'm a psychodynamic counsellor with a broad experience of coming alongside people to help them deal with difficult feelings or experiences. I can offer you a safe, calm and accepting space in which you can be yourself.
As we talk, I can help you to understand why you might feel the way you do. Sometimes this can be because past experiences are affecting how we interpret, and feel about, the present. Together, we will seek to understand you and to find the insights you need to break out of unhelpful patterns.
