As a qualified therapist working in an integrative way, I draw upon various insights of different counselling therapies to aid in the counselling process. I am committed to providing therapy in a safe, confidential and non judegmental environment.

I believe its important for my clients to feel comfortable with me, so we can work together to achieve goals. I try to work in a relaxed, open and jargon free manner.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

My experience of counselling has been through the voluntary sector and through private practice. My areas of interest are Loss and Bereavement, Pet Bereavement and Loss, depression, anxiety, affects of abuse, low mood, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bullying and conflict and work related stress.

My Qualifications:
Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - (SCQF Level 8) - Institutes of Counselling/University of the west of Scotland.
Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling - CPCAB
Certificate in counselling studies - CPCAB
Certificate in counselling skills - CPCAB
Certificate of Awareness in Bereavement Care - Cruse Bereavement Foundation training
Certificate of counselling in the workplace - CIPD

I am a 'Member' of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Pyschotherapy) and an 'Associate Member' of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development).
