Hello.....I practice in Glasgow with Park Psychotherapy Group, from a central location off Sauchiehall Street. Parking is available and public transport links are close by.
The experience of therapy is unique to each person, but generally I draw on approaches and techniques form a variety of training and experience to work holistically and collaboratively with each client. I'm trained in Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural therapies as well as currently training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing and the Comprehensive Resource Model. The personal issues I have worked with over the last 8 years include depression, relationship difficulties, anxiety and trauma and I have particular interest and experience working with domestic abuse, Asperger's Syndrome, eating and personality disorders and High Sensitivity.
I hope the information on this site is helpful, but please feel free to ask me any questions by telephone or email.
Training, qualifications & experience
A varied background in education, vocational counselling and massage therapy encouraged me to train in psychotherapy in 2006. I began working with women who have experienced sexual, physical and psychological abuse by a partner around this time and I continue to work and study in this field.
I meet people with a variety of difficulties for example depression, relationship and sexual difficulties, symptoms of post traumatic stress, obsessions and addictions, anxiety, eating disorders and other psychological distress.
