Helen Ellis-Morgan MBACP
My name is Helen. I am a qualified counsellor and qualified social worker.
I have vast experience of working with a range of client groups being children, young people, parents, carers, people with learning and physical difficulties and older people, covering all types of issues relating to the individual.
I adhere to the BACP code of ethics. I am English and Welsh speaking.
I mainly use person centred approach with my counselling, being non-judgemental, understanding the client in an empathic approach and being congruent by providing genuineness and honesty.
At times it can be difficult to talk to friends or family members, it is also sometimes difficult for them to understand. This is where I believe counselling is beneficial to the individual. Talking through any problem with a counsellor can help by having a different perspective.
I work with the client to achieve acceptance, self awareness, guide them to a better understanding and to enable to make individual choices and take positive decisions and gain control, which can be the beginning of leading a fuller and happier life.
