Helen Ellis MBACP Registered
My name is Helen and I am a registered, qualified Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
There are times in life where we all experience emotional difficulties. I offer a safe, comfortable environment where you can engage fully in therapy and are able to explore your situation and gain support to help you move forward and grow.
I believe in valuing everyone as a unique human being and feel strongly about helping people to achieve their full potential. I provide an atmosphere that is confidential, non-judgemental and empathic. I am trained to listen and help you work through your difficulties by helping you gain a clearer understanding of yourself and your world. Together we will work towards helping you move forward and make positive changes.
I practice as an Integrative Counsellor, working on a Humanistic basis and am able to introduce psychological models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy into my work, tailoring our time together in a structured way which will help you move towards positive mental health.
I understand and respect differences in culture, sexuality and gender. I offer a calm presence while working with clients who are facing challenging situations.
I am a registered member of the BACP and work within their Ethical Framework. In addition, I am currently working towards accreditation status within the BACP.
I work from two locations; Upton, Chester and Liverpool city centre. Both offer well appointed, comfortable counselling rooms. They are easily accessible, both by public transport and car - parking is available outside both locations.
