Gwen Randall, BA (Hons), Foundation Degree, MBACP (accred),supervision
I am an Integrative, Person Centred Counsellor which means that I am guided by you as the client, as to your needs and we work together to helping you to identify areas you wish to work with. I am experienced in working with relationship issues, anxiety and i currently work in the NHS in the Occupational Health Department. I have experience in particular in working with work place issues, this also includes the distress caused by adult bullying in the workplace, as well as change in the workplace. I use elements of CBT and psychotherapy where appropriate. I also provide services for young people, adults and in addition older clients experiencing anxiety relating to change and entering retirement. I am also experienced in supporting clients who wish to address issues relating to ADHD and Aspergers. Other issues which may be bought to counselling are for example, depression, anxiety, relationship and bereavement difficulties.
Confidentiality is of paramount importance to me and to ensure the client feels confident and safe in being able to explore their issues in the space and time available for them. Many people come to Counselling being aware of their difficulties but feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to make changes. By working together we can explore thoughts and feelings to enable you to gain control over your life and movement towards your goals and plans whilst being fully supported by myself.
I am also trained to provide Coaching, this may be in relation to the workplace and promotion. Alternatively, Career Coaching to enable the client to make important decisions for their future employment prospects.
