Hi there and welcome. My name is Glyn Harris, I am a cognitive behavioural and EMDR therapist and I help my clients change the negative thoughts and behaviours that stop them reaching their full potential.
I usually have three clinics. One based in Preston, Lancashire. One in North Liverpool and one near Cartmel in South Lakes. At the moment, however, all sessions are conducted online via Zoom video conferencing.
Cognitive behavioural therapy or CBT is a widely recognised and respected psychological treatment for depression and anxiety disorders. It is also widely used in sport and business to challenge performance limiting beliefs. I have over ten years experience working full time in the NHS as a therapist and I have private practices in Preston, Liverpool and near Cartmel in South Lakes

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
