About me
I am a mature therapist with over 20 years experience.
I work intuitively and creatively in a warm, interactive and non judgmental way building on your strengths and qualities, helping you to find clarity and release during times of difficulties and tension.
I believe that a crisis allows us to take a fresh look at our life and to understand what needs change so difficult times can become an opportunity for getting in touch with inner wisdom, for the fulfilment of aspirations and potential. They can make us more open to life, more emotionally resilient and more compassionate.
I have a lot of experience with issues like stress and anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and loneliness, relationships, loss and life transitions, work problems, career, burnout, bullying, loss of direction in life etc.
Every session is absolutely confidential and lasts 60 minutes. The first appointment is just a space for us to begin to know each other and establish a bond. From the start I will endeavour to give you an idea of where I see us going and what is my understanding of your needs. I focus on the understanding of the past, on being in the present and on building the future so that all aspects of your experience are explored, honoured and taken care of.
My London office is a few minutes from Warwick Avenue and Maida Vale tube stations. My Reading office is in Caversham but I am currently working online.

I work both short and long-term with clients of different age, cultural background and sexual orientation. My approach is integrative enabling me to access different tools according to the needs of each client. These tools include the therapeutic use of imagery and dreams, mindfulness, psychodynamic interpretations, Gestalt and CBT techniques.
I have acted as a consultant psychotherapist and supervisor for charities working both with young people at risk and with members of staff. Currently I work for a number of Employee Assistant Programmes and for Insurance companies like Bupa, WPA, Aviva and Cigna.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

"Otherwise", my first volume of narrative poetry is out and can be purchased on Amazon. It is a retelling and re-interpretation of five Greek myths. It draws on my experience as a psychotherapist and my ongoing interest in dreamwork, spirituality, Jungian depth psychology and alchemy.
