You can benefit from a personalised combination of counselling tools, depending on your needs.
Below is an overview of the methods and services you can choose and combine.
While coaching is mostly about moving forward to reach rewarding goals, counselling is mostly about looking at a specific issue. The aim of the counselling is to deal with something that disturbs you, in order to achieve a state of wellbeing. Issues can be related to the present moment, but they can also regard your future or past. However, counselling is always aimed at improving your present! The key of every counselling process is your emotional wellbeing. A variety of counselling approaches are helpful to gently face, clarify, and solve a specific issue.
• CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based method and its core consists in gaining awareness of your own thoughts and beliefs. This allows you to discard negative or damaging thoughts and beliefs in order to substitute them with positive and helpful ones. CBT is an efficient and very rewarding process. Through CBT you can learn to react differently to external circumstances, and this can lead to an extraordinary improvement in your life. CBT works particularly well with issues such as anxiety, depression, troublesome emotions, dealing with criticism, self-acceptance, self-esteem and self-confidence.
• Stress and Anxiety Management
If you are dealing with stress or anxiety, this approaches are what you are looking for. You can either overcome your issue or cope effectively with it. Stress and anxiety management allow you to consistently improve the quality of your life. Stress and anxiety management can be also useful to deal with a variety of emotional disturbances, such as depression, anger, guilt, hurt, jealousy, envy, shame and others.
• Philosophical Counselling
Philosophical counselling is something radically different from academic philosophy. While academic philosophy can be abstract and so technical, philosophical counselling is practical, easily understandable and straightforward. Philosophical counselling aims at allowing you to develop practical wisdom and clarify. It also allows you to reflect on your values, have a better understanding of your life circumstances, and make the most out of your resources. In other words, philosophical counselling helps you to have a clearer vision of the world and behave in a way that is consistent with who you are.
• Mindfulness Training
If you feel detached from the events and want to lead your life, mindfulness is what you need. Mindfulness is an evidence-based approach and consists in developing awareness of your body, thoughts, emotions and feelings. This leads to an increased capacity of being in the present moment, which is crucial to deal with stress or anxiety, or to get more joy, presence and satisfaction out of our life.
• Relaxation Techniques
If stress is your problem, or if you feel you need more energy, or if you want to be more focused in your life, relaxation techniques are an extraordinary resource for you. Relaxation techniques are varied, they can be easily and quickly implemented in your daily lives and they are wonderful tools to de-stress or reduce your anxiety.
• Communication Skills Training
Communication is such a crucial part of life. It is fundamental to be successful at work, in relationships, and in various circumstances. If you want to improve your communication skills, be more assertive, manage conflict, a simple and straightforward training in communication skills is the solution. This works even better if supported by a coaching relationship targeted to the problem you experience.
• Life Coaching
If you want to overcome an obstacle, achieve a goal or improve your life, coaching is a great tool. Coaching allows you to progress easily in small steps while receiving professional support. You can learn to make better choices, manage your time, be more assertive, and so much more. Coaching helps you to explore realistic options and guides you through the implementation of a plan towards your goals.
