About me

I am currently providing face-to-face appointments, plus remote sessions by video and phone. For further information please get in touch.

I am a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist providing counselling and psychotherapy for children, teenagers and adults in Glasgow.

I provide a safe and confidential space for my clients to explore the problems and issues they bring to therapy.

I have extensive and specialist experience of working with teenagers, helping them through what can be a difficult period of transition and development.

I work with adults who want to overcome short- or long-term issues in their lives, and with young adults and students who face new and unique challenges when starting work, university or college.

I have particular expertise in working with neurodiversity - autism, ADHD/ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and Tourette's - both pre- and post-diagnosis.

CBT explores the link between what you do, what you think and how you feel. I will work together with you to find the best way forward and to help you find the best solutions to your problems

If you are experiencing any kind of difficulty yourself, or you are a parent or carer of a child who needs support, CBT can help.

Training, qualifications & experience

BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist
Diploma CBT & Groupwork
BA (Hons) Psychology
Masters in Public Health
COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies and I abide by their standards of conduct, performance and ethics.

Teenagers: I have valuable experience working with teens age 12+, built up over 10 years in a secondary school and private practice. Providing support at this crucial time helps them to lead happier lives and to realise their potential. I can help with anxiety, depression, anger, difficult family relationships, autism, ADHD, self-harm, exam stress, low self-esteem and bullying.

Adults: I also work with adults, with experience of working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, autism, ADHD, low self-esteem, trauma and stress.

Students & young adults: Young people can face new and unique challenges at this time which can impact on their academic performance, work performance and future prospects. I have worked with students/young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, loneliness, autism/ADHD, work overload, exam stress, drug and alcohol use and relationship difficulties.

Or if you find that life is getting on top of you and you are struggling to cope, CBT can help too.

I have a particular interest in, and extensive experience of, using CBT with  autism and associated neuro-developmental conditions, such as ADHD, ADD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.
