About me

Life has difficult periods such as relationship problems, stress at work and changes in circumstances. These times can cause you to feel stressed, anxious and depressed. If you feel out of control or unable to cope with daily life contact Gina for a brief chat by phone or email to decide whether booking an initial appointment would be helpful for you. Gina is an integrative therapist trained in the relational model and she specialises in helping people get through these difficult periods in their lives.

It can be daunting to make initial contact with someone new to discuss sensitive and personal issues but rest assured Gina will not judge you and the conversations you have are strictly confidential. If you decide to proceed for an initial session this will be mainly an information gathering and getting to know each other session. Gina may ask more direct questions in this first meeting.

At the end of the initial session it is up to you whether you want to proceed with more sessions and if so you will arrange weekly 50 minute meetings with Gina. It is your choice how few or how many sessions you have. Six sessions is a usual starting place however you may feel better with fewer or more sessions, it is your choice.

Gina aims to create a secure, healthy and trusting relationship in which you feel able to explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviour and interactions. The sessions are led by you after-all you are the expert on you! Gina however may offer suggestions and help you to explore things in order that you may gain insight, clarity, healing and change. As an example, you may discuss past and current relationships , life events or something that's bothering you that you can't quite put your finger on.

Therapy is not one size fits all, how could it be, we are all so unique! Gina is trained to use different therapeutic models to tailor the therapy to fit each individual. This is the benefit of seeing an integrative therapist, the therapy is made to fit you as opposed to you trying to fit a prescribed way of being. Gina aims to help you be you.
