The Counselling Service
St Chads Office Off High Street
Here to help with whatever is facing you in life, be it from the past, the present or a future issue that’s causing you concern and preventing you living the life you would like to lead. Life can have its high and low points; there can be behaviours we don’t understand or aren’t even aware that are impacting on our lives and well being. Talking to a professional, qualified counsellor offers a way through, a way not to struggle alone and not to feel alone.
You don’t need to struggle alone.
Offering a person centred approach which is non directive and non judgemental. It allows you to start the counselling conversation wherever you feel is most appropriate. You may often see Counselling referred to as a Talking Therapy. Talking therapies are great for when you are going through a bad time and can?t sort something out yourself. It?s often easier to talk through some issues with a person who doesn?t know you, who respects what you have to say, will listen and encourage your opinion, thoughts and feelings. For some people Counselling/Talking therapy may not make their problems go away but they can help you to feel better and more contented.
All sessions are within the ethic of British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
