I am a professionally trained and experienced counsellor offering a safe and confidential place where you can expore your issues in a friendly and non-judgemental environment.
My approach to counselling provides a space where you will be able to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and find new ways of coping with the difficulties in your life.
My experience includes working with adults, young people and children with issues including, bereavement, anger management, depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.
Relationship issues, stress, abuse, self-harm, bullying, work related issues and spirituality.
I am also experienced in counselling students who are undertaking counselling courses and are required to engage in personal therapy as part of their training.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
Since gaining my qualifications I have also undertaken further specialist training in,
bereavement counselling,
brief solution focused therapy
counselling young people.
I have extensive counselling experience having worked for a number of organisations. These include, Relate Counselling Service, Barnardos, Private Practice and a community based counselling service.
I have had the opportunity of supporting people of all ages and backgrounds who were experiencing difficult times in their lives and passionately believe in the dignity, respect and value every person who choose to take part in the counselling process.
