Profile

Deciding to see a counsellor for the first time can be pretty daunting. You may be worried about whether it is going to be right for you or if you and the issues you bring will be accepted. Luckily when it comes to counselling there are no right or wrongs, so whether you are aware of a specific problem that you want support around solving or you are not sure what is going on and are feeling lost and confused, counselling can help.

I am trained as a psychosynthesis counsellor and work in Wimbledon. Apart from being a bit of a tongue twister, 'psychosynthesis' is a flexible and adaptable model of counselling which lends itself well to short term solution-focused work and long term, deeper work. Every one of us is unique and has different needs; by working together we can explore what it is you are looking for and how best we can help you to get it.

For a bit more info on psychosynthesis see below. To find out more about me, ask questions or to make an appointment, please visit my website or contact me and leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Georgina

Further Information

More about Psychosynthesis:

Often referred to as the 'Psychology with a Soul', the essential aim of Psychosynthesis is to help people discover their true self, then to effectively utilize this discovery in everyday life. It can help us to recognise our own potential, increase our ability to function harmoniously in the modern world, and improve the quality of all our relationships.

Psychosynthesis was formulated by Italian psychiatrist Roberto Assagioli in 1902, a pioneer of the psychoanalytic movement in Italy and a contemporary of Freud and Jung. Since then, it has expanded theoretically, technically and organisationally, with more than 50 centres and institutes throughout the world.
