Experience of working with anxiety, bereavement, depression, relationships, self-esteem, sexual abuse, stress, trauma and supporting clients through difficult life situations.
Client group: Adults on a one-to-one basis.
General: I came into this work because it is important to me that people are heard. Who will hear your pain? I will.
I am a BACP accredited counsellor and an independent counsellor on the UKRC Register. I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have been trained an an Integrative counsellor and work essentially person centred. I undertake 30 hours professional development each year. I am committed to regular and ongoing supervision. I am insured to work in private practice.

I have 1397 hours to date of supervised client experience. I work in a charity and in private practice. I have experience of both short and long-term counselling.

South Somerset Mind offers a free assessment session, up to 8 x 60 minute person-centred counselling sessions at a cost of £25 per hour. South Somerset Mind offers a concessionary rate, if appropriate.
I offer private, long-term counselling to South Somerset Mind clients who wish to transfer to my private practice at a cost of £25 per hour at South Somerset Mind, The Marwick Centre, Dampier Street, Yeovil, Somerset. BA21 43N.
