Genevieve Velarde Dip. Couns. MBACP
*CONTACT ME NOW FOR A FREE 30 MINUTE CONSULTATION TO SEE HOW I CAN HELP YOU*
I am a friendly, caring and passionate counsellor. I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space where you can explore what has brought you to seek counselling and we can work through your problems together. Maybe you are not completely sure what is wrong? Working with me can help you discover what it is that is making you unhappy so you can get more satisfaction out of your life.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. I have experience working with men and women of all ages (from 16 to retirement) with a variety of presenting issues, giving me a broad spectrum of experience.
As well as my private work I also run the counselling service at a FE College, where I counsel both students and staff. I am the only qualified counsellor providing this service to the whole college. I have previously worked within NHS primary care dealing with referrals from GPs.
If you are unable to cope and feel that I could help you, please contact me for an initial consultation. It is important that you find the right counsellor and in order to do this I recommend we meet in person. This session is free and will last around 30 minutes.
I offer affordable rates and I am based in Stockport. I am easy to access by public transport or by car and there are a variety of places to park nearby.
