Do you feel you need help?
Are you suffering with anxiety or panic attacks, feeling sad or depressed? Are you experiencing relationship difficulties, seperation or divorce? Are you struggling to cope?
If so, would you like to talk to someone and feel able to tell them exactly how you are feeling without the fear of being a 'burden' or upsetting and worrying them?
Talking to a professional counsellor can truly help! Would you like me to help you?
As a therapist I have over 13 years experience counselling in a wide variety of settings and organisations. These include Private practice, NHS primary care, Managing a Charity funded counselling service, College and University and MIND - the leading mental health charity in England and Wales.
I understand that deciding to seek help with problems and difficulties you may be experiencing takes a lot of courage, so trusting in finding the right support and a counsellor with whom you feel comfortable to talk openly and honestly with is extremely important when making a decision to seek support. My clients regularly express to me that the most important thing that helps them to feel at ease is having a warm and friendly counsellor alongside a safe, comfortable and confidential place where they can begin to feel able to share and explore their current problems and difficulties.
I genuinely empathise with all my clients and am fully committed to listening without ever 'judging', always being mindful and respectful to their individual needs and difficulties.
Should you feel that I may be the right counsellor for you please feel free to give me a call so we can have an informal chat together. This first initial contact can often allay any concerns that you may have. I will do my best to help you feel more at ease.
I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation so please give me a call.
My Therapy Approach
I practice from an Integrative perspective which means I use my knowledge and experience in ways that combine theoretical theory and skills from Humanistic, Solution Focussed and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I believe no single theoretical approach suits all people and each person has unique needs, expectations, difficulties and indeed preferences of therapy type and style. I truly value working together with each client to create an approach adapted to suit their own individual needs. This approach maximises opportunities for clients to manage their problems and difficulties and to make the changes they want in their lives.
