About me

I am a Relate trained and experienced Relationship Counsellor, Mediator, Sex Therapist, Sex Addiction & Love Addiction Therapist. All of which are undertaken by Vsee, (Skype), Facetime, other webcam utilities, telephone and face to face with clients from all parts of the country and indeed, all over the world.

I counsel, lead seminars & workshops, group workshops, lecture and write books (available on Amazon), covering all aspects of relationships and factors which contribute to disharmony in self and relationships, whether for singles, couples or groups - including sex therapy, conflict management & resolution/mediation, sex addiction and love addiction therapy.

Love addiction is all about seeking love, affection and romance, sometimes at the expense of self and sex, to feel a gain of being accepted - often exhibited through long use of the social media and romantic novels and is seen more often in women. Men are much more visual and usually gravitate to the visual stimulating images.

Therapy involves stage 1: Exploring your issues in the session and I use various skills; stage 2: Reflecting by you after the session, to gain increased insight & understanding about self; which will lead you to Stage 3: Action/change, now that you have gained that better insight & understanding. We are moving stuff from the unconscious into the conscious. What you cannot see, then you have little hope of affecting or changing it; what you can better begin to see and understand,(because we put a highlighter pen through it!) - you now get the option to start to try to affect and change it... but because it may have been a practice prevalent in your life for many years, the change process may need some help using, for example, CBT.

I have undertaken a full year's training in sex & Love addiction and compulsivity in this specialised area of therapy. I work with clients who are based throughout the country and indeed, the world and 60% do not come to my office based in Bristol.

Do visit my website at I work face to face, Vsee, by skype, FaceTime or phone (or whatever the most secure medium may be).

The way forward is to have an assessment session at which time I will listen to your story, provide insight as to how I can help and answer your questions so you can decide whether or not to continue with the work. There is a fee for all sessions, including the assessment.

The fee for that session and thereafter will range between £49 to £74; up to £94 if it is sex or love addiction and you are a high income earner. There are concessions for those on a low income - where sessions are between £35 to £45 pounds.

Please feel free to call me or send me a text with at least two available days and times of your availability for a 50 mins to one hour appointment, and I will check my diary.
